Based on the Print & Scan OMR concept the MultiTest Examination system allows users to create and set tests, coursework or examinations. Supplied either as a standalone system or with an optional Question Item Bank module - both the OMR and Web-based systems support multiple question types, also with multiple choice questions available.
On OMR paper-based systems, lecturers can mark the correct answers on a pre-defined form with up to sixty questions allowed or simply select questions from the Question Item Bank which then automatically generates the correct answers for comparison with the student responses. Screen based form checking, whilst scanning using an OMR is included as well as full reporting functions.
The optional Question Item Bank module allows users to generate questions from a previously created common question pool. It contains a multi-tiered bank option which permits users to have as many sub headings to
Remote access to the Question Item Bank is available whereby administrators/lecturers can select questions from the bank as well as creating new ones. These are then returned to the system administrator electronically who can then generate the forms with the appropriate title headers and grading's for each question if necessary. Import/export facilities, to and from the system, utilise the IMS standard format, running XML, thus allowing transfers to other systems if required.
