New Electronic Modules for Print & Scan Announced

Two additional electronic modules for the Print & Scan system are due to be released at the end of September.

The first is an HTML version of the Web based system, which automatically converts a form designed within Print & Scan into pure HTML code. This has the advantage of running faster than the current Java based system especially where a Netscape browser is used. The main disadvantage is that the form cannot be displayed in the original paper based format. If this is a requisite then users should ensure that respondees have Internet Explorer available.

The Second release is a telephone data gathering option whereby users can deploy Tele-staff to undertake surveys of respondees over the telephone. Operators are taken to each question automatically via special links with split screens and enhanced display modes used to reduce errors and strain.
