Work on this change is now well in hand and we expect to release this version before the year end. Indications from a number of users is that they will take the new system on board once released. Unlike ACCESS the SQL version will be able to support multiple file access and sharing across a network can be catered for (Access is not able to support these options), which would also eliminate the problems of moving files.
Remember, however, that it is not recommended to scan across a network due to the possibility of drop out due to the traffic on the network. Watch this space for further news or contact Mark Hollingworth on 01634 724724
